Marry Abroad on the BBC!

We've just been on the BBC World Service talking about the fake wedding in the Maldives which is now in the news. The Maldives is a beautiful country, with lovely people, it's such a shame that a few people have been so inhospitable to this wedding couple.
Legally foreigners can't get married in the Maldives, but many couples have a wedding blessing. Don't let this incident put you off if you're considering having a ceremony there - it's a true tropical paradise!
