Think Sicily launches brand new villas ready for 2012 season

Think Sicily is delighted to add 3 stunning villas to their portfolio for the 2012 season: Itaca, Casa Alma and La Limonaia. As with all the company’s villas, these new arrivals are supreme in quality, available exclusively through Think Sicily and come with a level of service and expertise knowledge that is second to none…

Itaca is situated in the most exclusive area of chic Mondello, just a few minutes’ drive from the town’s long sandy beach and excellent seafood restaurants. It has its own swimming pool and tennis court and, sleeping up to 11, is perfect for a large family or several different groups holidaying together.

Casa Alma is another example of the perfect summer house and sleeps up to 12. Sitting on a hill looking out to sea over the vineyards of Menfi, the villa is a unique mix of Scandinavian and Sicilian design mixing the clean lines and open spaces of the North with the warmth of the South. It has unrivalled calming views, a fabulous infinity pool, green lawns and lots of outdoor space for cooking, dining and relaxing… all within easy striking distance of some fabulous beaches!

La Limonaia lies amidst the fragrant lemon orchards and lush Mediterranean vegetation of Sicily’s east coast Riviera, not far from Taormina. A lovingly restored lavastone country house, it boasts 360-degree views of Mount Etna and the Ionian Sea, a splendid pool, lawned gardens and a gentle, carefree atmosphere that pampers the senses.

Huw & Rossella Beaugié, the founders of The Thinking Traveller, still personally select all new villas. Says Huw, “we accept only a very small proportion of the properties offered to us. Each villa we take on has to meet our stringent criteria and add something new and unique to our portfolio as a whole. Itaca, Casa Alma and La Limonaia certainly do both of those things!”
