Elopements are New Eco-wedding Trend

Ranch Rider, the riding holiday tour operator, has seen the flat economy give rise to a new wave of nuptials, a growing number of elopers booking destination weddings just for two. While cost is one of the major reasons for downsizing the Big Day the tour operator claims there are other factors behind the growing trend. Tony Daly, Managing Director of Ranch Rider, comments, “These days we’re all very aware of the effect we have on the environment, and removing the guest list makes marrying abroad a more eco-friendly way to tie the knot.
