WANTED – 16 BRIDES FOR 16 ISLANDS - Wedding Dress, Rings and Ceremony Included

Image
6 September 2011, London:  Today the Bahamas Tourist Office issues the ultimate romantic proposal – the 16 Islands Wedding Invitation.    Brides-and-grooms-to-be looking for wedding inspiration should take a couple of minutes in front of a camera to tell us why they would like to win a free wedding in The Bahamas. Sixteen couples will each win a luxury wedding - including a designer dress, rings and wedding ceremony on one of the main 16 Islands of The Bahamas.  And all they have to do is choose their island, switch on the camcorder and tell us why that island is the one for them.  We will then select the 16 couples who will marry simultaneously on 16 May 2012, at 16:00 hrs on 16 different Islands of The Bahamas.    All 16 lucky couples will fly out to The Bahamas next May and take two wedding guests with them as witnesses.  Nassau, Paradise Island and Grand Bahama Island, Harbour Island, Eleuthera and The Abacos are probably the best known of the 16 islands

New Wedding Abroad App launches for busy brides on the go

Destination wedding website MarryAbroad.co.uk has launched a free iphone app to aid busy brides on the go. Designed to help couples find a wedding planner abroad, the app is easy to use and provides full information on each wedding planner so couples can get in touch directly from their phone, follow the planner's social media channels, or simply visit their website. Wedding providers are categorised by country, and also by type of ceremony, so users can, for example, find a planner who arranges a beach wedding in the Bahamas, or a Civil ceremony in Italy. Charlotte Hand from MarryAbroad.co.uk says, “we're delighted that our new app allows couples to find a wedding provider directly from their phones, as it's a great way to see the ceremony choices available around the world. The app will be regularly updated so users can continue to see the many wedding choices available as they decide on a ceremony provider.” Over the past 5 years more than 1.5 billio
