Press Release Canada most popular wedding destination in 2010 Sri Lanka more desirable than Thailand for British couples Destination wedding website MarryAbroad.co.uk has today released figures showing the trends in country choice for couples choosing to get married abroad, with some surprising results. For the first time in three years a non-European country, Canada, has topped the list of most popular countries for British couples to get married. Another non-European destination, Sri Lanka, makes an impressive debut appearance in the list at number two, while India creeps in at number ten. In contrast, 2008’s number two, Thailand, slips out of the top ten altogether and long-haul destination Australia drops to nine. As expected, European countries such as Italy, Spain, France, Greece and Cyprus have remained in the top ten, but their fortunes have been mixed. Wedding Make Up in SW France

With the 2011 wedding season already upon us, Carey Hawkins Make Up will soon be changing location to best serve the popular South West France wedding regions. As from the end of April Carey will be located between the Dordogne & Charente departments, making the bridal service as available to all as possible. This change of location also means access to the very popular Loire Valley region plus the cities of Bordeaux, La Rochelle and Paris. Wedding in Greece - 5 star hotel

Sani Beach Hotel is to be relaunched as a five-star hotel when it reopens for the summer season this April. The resort’s owners say significant refurbishments and room reconfiguration at a cost of €15 million have transformed the hotel - part of a large resort in Halkidiki with its own marina and village in a nature reserve - into a five-star hotel. The new-look Sani Beach Hotel will have 100 fewer rooms and the new inventory will include 60 suites with 50 sq metres of living space to accommodate up to four guests. The hotel will also unveil 20 family-focused suites. Golf carts have been introduced to ferry guests around the resort. The hotel’s car park is also being transformed into a Mediterranean garden and a new playground has been introduced for kids. New menus have been introduced and 24-hour room service will be available.
