New Wedding Abroad App launches for busy brides on the go

Destination wedding website MarryAbroad.co.uk has launched a free iphone app to aid busy brides on the go. Designed to help couples find a wedding planner abroad, the app is easy to use and provides full information on each wedding planner so couples can get in touch directly from their phone, follow the planner's social media channels, or simply visit their website.

Wedding providers are categorised by country, and also by type of ceremony, so users can, for example, find a planner who arranges a beach wedding in the Bahamas, or a Civil ceremony in Italy.

Charlotte Hand from MarryAbroad.co.uk says, “we're delighted that our new app allows couples to find a wedding provider directly from their phones, as it's a great way to see the ceremony choices available around the world. The app will be regularly updated so users can continue to see the many wedding choices available as they decide on a ceremony provider.”

Over the past 5 years more than 1.5 billion downloads* have taken place from the AppStore, and, with Android phones gaining in popularity, app use continues to soar.

Marry Abroad's app can be found today on the AppStore – just search for “weddings abroad”. An Android version will be the next move for the firm in the near future.

Non-UK wedding providers can now apply to join the app – those who join before 31 December 2011 will benefit from a discounted yearly fee of £150. Please email request@marryabroad.co.uk for more details.
